The ormolu mounted hinged lid painted with cherubs amongst floral garden scenes within floral gilded and gilt banded decoration - signed 'Roy' the body will all round matching painted panels on a pale blue ground standing on three scrolled feet - sevres mark and dated 1758 beneath.
