The intricately inlaid book-matched top border with crisply carved edging and finely gilt-tooled red leather writing surface, above a frieze with four lockable drawers with intricate inlays and shaped apron. The base consisting of segmented turned stem and carved tripod legs with scrolled feet on brass and ceramic castors.
