A fine late 19th century French Sèvres porcelain box of cylindrical form, decorated with hand-painted floral sprays within alternating blue and pink ribbon bands on a white ground. The porcelain body is surmounted by a pierced gilt-bronze mount with domed cover and floral finial, flanked by opposing ram’s head handles. The interior is plain glazed, the base bearing a painted Sèvres mark.
